Founded in 2019, FloatSteps started with one clear goal: to create insoles that help people move comfortably and free from foot pain. From the very beginning, we’ve avoided empty marketing claims and focused on real evidence and proven results.

Over the past 4+ years of research, testing, and refinement, FloatSteps has served tens of thousands of customers worldwide. Every product we sell is designed, tested, and proven effective before it reaches your feet.

Each pair of FloatSteps insoles is made from premium Terylene fabric and high-density EVA foam, and goes through rigorous testing against international and in-house standards to ensure quality:

• Compression stress–strain performance: tested to ISO 3386-1/-2 to measure foam’s stress–strain curve, ensuring long-lasting shock absorption and minimal flattening over time.
• Shore hardness: measured to ASTM D2240 (Shore A/OO) to balance softness with proper foot support.
• Abrasion resistance: tested to ISO 4649:2017, simulating over 500 km of continuous use to ensure the insole surface won’t wear out prematurely.
• Cushioning & shock absorption: evaluated using SATRA TM142 (falling-mass) and TM183 (whole-shoe cushion assessment) to verify impact reduction both initially and after repeated compression cycles.
• In-sock friction: tested to SATRA TM184 to reduce foot slippage inside the shoe.

(Note: ASTM F2913 and SATRA TM144 are slip resistance tests for outsoles and flooring, so we do not claim “non-slip outsoles” for FloatSteps.)

We also work closely with podiatrists to fine-tune arch elevation, heel cushioning, and pressure distribution in line with BAPO Footwear Fitting Guidelines, ensuring proper biomechanical support and reduced fatigue during extended wear.
